下面是转载过来的，在网上搜了很久终于找到一个有用的方法，本人比较讨厌论坛里那种不着边际的回答，强烈鄙视！！！让费他人的时间，下面这个是inter给出的解决方法，我的电脑是集成显卡，inter945的芯片，玩起来效果不是很好，不过这个方法在我的电脑上有效果。

Symptom(s):

Lord of the Rings*: The Return of the King Game Will Not Run

Error: "Could not find any compatible Direct3D devices with the required capabilities. Make sure you have current drivers for your video card. The Lord of the Rings(tm); Return of the King(tm) will now exit."

Cause:

By default, the game requires a graphics adapter with hardware T&L (Transform and Lighting) support to run. Intel® graphics controllers do not support hardware T&L. Software T&L can be enabled using a setting in the game configuration file.

Solution:

The following steps can be used to eliminate or minimize the issue(s) reported with the game:

点击下载 the modified ROTK.ini file
复制到 <My Documents>/LOTR The Return of the King™ Data folder. 找到My Document下面的LOTR The Return of the King™ Data folder文件夹，开始我没有看懂是什么意思，结果在游戏的文件夹下面找了半天，要注意。
